The breakfast was beautifully cooked and presented as were the meals we had in the restaurant at dinner.
The dining room was nice on two levels with a well stocked bar.
Staff were friendly and informative. One young member helped us upstairs with our luggage.
The view from the bedroom was superb over the Firth to Fife.

The team at the Castle Inn were fantastic! Additionally, it was excellent to have the entire room/pub experience. They put together a great atmosphere.
Clean town, very friendly and helpful local people.
Clean town, very friendly and helpful local people. Expensive, but guess being close to Edinburgh things will be dearer. An excellent train service reasonably priced. Roadworks all over the place causing uproar on the roads when we were there but never once saw an actual workman working on the holes. Plenty of good eating places, a few cosy traditional pubs. Beautiful beach with plenty of access points. Many places of interest to visit such as the Seabird Centre, Tantallon Castle, National Museum of Flight and more.
Tesco and Aldi nearby. Two very good caravan/camping parks. Nice leisure centre. Everywhere you go there are marvellous containers of beautifully colourful flowers all planted by volunteers from the town.

Off season parking plentiful but I believe there are more restrictions in the summer.
The train station is close to the centre and it's only 30minutes to Edinburgh.
A good base to explore East Lothian.

Have visited North Berwick often but never stayed over as lived not far away in the past. Tantallon and Dirleton Castles are very different with the former having a view of Bass Rock. Very dog friendly. Lots of places to have food and refreshments. The Rocketeer for lobster is a must.

Its a beautiful characterful town and a great place to stay if you are heading up towards Edinburgh. The beaches are beautiful and the town has a great selection of cafes and little shops. The Scottish SeaBird Centre is really good and well worth a visit. A walk to the nearby Tentallon Castle is recommended.

North Berwick is a great wee Scottish harbour town with excellent beaches, stunning coastal and countryside walks and the added benefit of having some exceptional bistro's and restaurants, particularly 'No.12' and 'The Puffin'.
A great base for visting Edinburgh, Dunbar, Whiteadder Reservoir etcetra.
A Great Location.
The Beach Pad is spotlessly clean. It is warm and comfortable. It is equipped with everything you could possibly need for either a long or short stay. The house is welcoming and beautifully decorated. The rooms are light and airy. Very much home from home. It is in a central location. North Berwick has lots of lovely shops and galleries. The beach is just metres away. Great for a morning run or walk. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and will definitely come and stay again at The Beach Pad.
Location location location! North Berwick is truly fabulous and East Beach View is in the best possible location. Literally, across the road from East Beach, with stunning view of Bass Rock, around the corner from an award winning Italian restaurant, Bostocks - amazing coffee shop, 20mins to Edinburgh. East Beach House is warm, welcoming, clean, comfy and stylish. It has EVERY for a fab holiday 💛 ….and the tap water makes a stunning cuppa
The location was excellent, very close to both the town and the sea. The hotel was full of character and lovely original period features while still having all the modern facilities that we expect. The bedroom was spacious, comfortable and very clean. The food and service were exceptional. Staff could not be faulted. We would be happy to use the Nether Abbey Hotel again and to recommend it to anyone.
Appalling.....poor maintenance....I have spent time in hostels that were better presented at a fraction of the price. Staff disappeared and left note on door to say they avevto leave and wouldn't be around in the morning to serve breakfast ....therefore no breakfast which was paid for with the room. This hotel is more like a very poor B&B without the breakfast. Over priced and feel ripped off...
The hotel has undergone a refurbishment since we last stayed and they have done a great job especially the bar and restaurant area. The hotel staff were friendly and attentive. The location is lovely with fabulous views over North Berwick golf club. Although we didn’t eat dinner in the hotel breakfasts were very good. It’s also good to know they let dogs stay.
The decor in the room was modern and cosy, and it was immaculate. The staff were professional and very friendly. Breakfast was delicious and great value for money. The location was central to everything. Would highly recommend this hotel. North Berwick is stunning been several times, must see if visiting Scotland.
Great house in a small city with a great location - walking distance to the beach or golf course, restaurants and the train station to head into the city. The house was as shown in the pictures and was great for our group (2 couples). We were met by the host’s family to give us information about the house/area.
We traveled to North Berwick for The Scottish Open. Linda Vista was a good base for our group to rest after long days at the course with a great kitchen (beach view is wonderful from this space), two lounge areas and comfortable rooms. Easy walk to local restaurants as well as sunrise/ sunset beach walks.
Fabulous little apartment, right on the beach only a few minutes walk from the town centre. The apartment was spotless and well equipped as well as being very nicely decorated and comfortable. We stayed for a week and had a lovely time exploring the area. Really can't fault it and would definitely return.
Location was brilliant. Seacliff Beach only 10 minute walk away. Cottage was very spacious, bedrooms all a good size. Nice to have 2 sitting areas. Kitchen great for dining in. All in all a great place for a relaxing family holiday with North Berwick only a short drive away.
Great apartment with all the up to date equipment. It was very clean. The beds were comfy. It is about 10 mins walk to all the shops and restaurants, but the Nether Abbey Hotel is about 2 mins away and does great food. Will definitely recommend to friends and family
North Berwick is a good holiday resort and we were very pleased with the location of the property

Good car parking across the road with a free area
Shower, hot water and heating good
Excellent location, close to beach, town centre amenities and short walk to train station. Kitchen well equipped and apartment was clean, comfortable, spacious and had lovely views. Quiet area. Parking spot was great to have too.
The house and grounds are stunning. Beautiful kitchen, living room, bedrooms - everything was so comfortable for everyone to spread out and have their own space. You couldn’t get a better location - or view - in North Berwick!
We had a lovely stay here! the breakfast every morning was exceptional and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The hotel restaurant was also a great option for us.
The location of the cottage is stunning, right on the beach. The village of North Berwick appears laid back and expensive. The people are freindly. The views are exceptional.
