The staff were very nice, and accommodating, thats about the best part. There was no hand towel, no hairdryer. I had to ask for hairdryer and he wanted me to bring it back. I said but it’s for in the morning. He said ok keep it, but first hotel without a hair dryer in the room. We had a twin room and it was cramped beyond belief. You had to turn away from the shower because it’s right next to the bed, with a mirror that can see who’s in the shower. No privacy at all from another person. The bathroom door was plywood? About 1/4” thick with magnetic closure. It was pretty quiet in room 1. Breakfast was just cereal and bread, no eggs, waffles, bacon. Just bread, canned peaches. Not close to anything historic, had to rent a bolt driver to get us places, or take the bus. We will never stay here again, best thing again was the staff.

It's really easy to find by car. Also easy access to the train station for trains into Edinburgh plus close to the airport. Lovely welcome upon arrival.

Filthiest room (with nasty odor); similar to those i stayed when I was very poor. The dirtiest, smelliest room I've ever stayed in. We were grossed out within seconds of entering the room; had been driving all day; had no choice but to stay the 1st night! We checked out asap in the morning. To be fair; our room was out in their courtyard area; the inside rooms might be fine.
