This property is set up with a traveller in mind! My room was on the ground floor, and had handicapped accessible features. I loved all the surfaces in the bathroom to put my get ready stuff on. The closet was open, and I thought that made it easier for me set my things out, and not forget them.

We liked everything about the property—location, facilities, parking, comfort, etc. But the best part of our stay was meeting Marie! She is very kind, friendly and warm. She even made sure we had snacks and breakfast items available in the room. We highly recommend staying at Skellig View Bluebell Rose & Kerry Cliffs and hope to return again ourselves. Delightful stay!

Everything was so comfortable and well thought out amenities for travelers. Parking was a breeze as well. Woody their dog is such a sweetheart! We loved chatting with the owners. They were helpful and friendly - we could have chatted with them all day!

Fabulous quiet cottage with original features and a view to die for. The sunsets were incredible. Unfortunately the name has been changed and no one in the area knows the new name so it took ages to find it. The new owners need to put a name on the gate.

A small fishing village with beautiful scenery nearby.
A small fishing village with beautiful scenery nearby. Parking could be an issue in hi-season, There are scenic boat trips around the islands and can be booked at the hotel. Off-season is quieter but no live music.

We gathered from our various accommodation to the Cafe on the pier and had an excellent breakfast. Great staff and value
I was only staying for one night and would have liked to have stayed for longer as the place had a lovely "feel"

Easy access to tourist options.
Easy access to tourist options. Cliffs of Kerry are on private property on the outskirts of Portmagee and entry cost was 5 Euros per person - good views and a bit of a climb from the car park.
The Skellings chocolate shop was great. You can try many samples of different types of chocolate before buying.
Many people travel to Portmagee for the 45 minute boat trip (one way) and landing on Skellig Michael. Landing is weather dependant - and not guaranteed. Puffins are adorable and plentiful. Guide at top of the steep 600+ steps climb up to the beehive huts was informative. Toilet facilities only at the arrival point to the island.
Brayhead Tower is over the bridge on Valentia Island with fabulous views out to sea towards the Skelligs and cliffs of Kerry. Car park is paid by a 2 Euro coin only. It is a LONG walk to the tower.
Tetrapod trackway is free, difficult to see the tracks but fabulous views. The slate works are close to the Tetrapod trackway but visitor information is limited.
We ate both nights outside at "The Fishermans Bar & restaurant" in Portmagee. Service is good and friendly. They serve fresh fish caught that day and it was delicious.
The smalll supermarket is not well stocked with pre-filled rolls/sandwiches and appears to have limited supplies - suggest you shop at Cahersiveen or Sneem if you are self catering.

A fabulous Fishing village with stunning scenery.
A fabulous Fishing village with stunning scenery. Two very good restaurant/ bars in the town with excellent food & service just 5 minutes away from guest house. Stunning cliff top walk & Valentia Island minutes away with lots to see & do.
An exceptional place, perfect location and a perfect view.
The house is nicely renovated with a separate area for the guests. We had the room with sea-view which made the stay even better. Quiet place, close to Portmagee for our trip to Skellig.
Clean rooms, hosts which helped with our questions (we even could get a charger for our Canon camera which we forgot at home - a one out of a million luck chance!! :-) ). Nice breakfast options in the dining area of the hosts - with view to the sea.
I can only fully recomend.
5 minutes away from the main road in Portmagee, which made it very easy to get to our Skellig tour. This was the first time on our trip we were able to make our own meal, which we enjoyed with a bottle of wine overlooking the harbor in the sun room. The hosts were very nice and provided toast and eggs to cook for breakfast which was very tasty. They also gave us free admission to the Kerry Cliffs walk which was a fun way to spend the morning (even if it was too foggy to make out much).
We had a cozy and clean room that could rival an hotel. The location of the B&B cannot be beat--10 minute walk into town, but still feels like you're out in the country. This is the perfect location to stay for someone taking a boat tour out of Portmagee. This is also a great location to do some star gazing. The staff was very accommodating and allowed us to leave our bags during our tour to Skellig Michael, after we checked out.
The location is brilliant as you can go anywhere on the ring of Kerry quickly as well as access to Skellig Islands via Portmagee. Caroline is brilliant and ensures you have everything you need. It is also very clean, and the beds are really comfortable. The kitchen is fully equipped which is great if you are staying in to cook or for making lunches on the travel days. I would definitely recommend staying here!
My husband and I are already trying to figure out how we can go back to visit Portmagee just to stay here again. Maureen and Pete are the perfect hosts. We had the best time staring out at the sea while chatting with them and enjoying a delicious breakfast that included eggs from their own hens and homemade jams and spreads. We truly look forward to staying here again in the near future!
Great location in Portmagee. Had a spacious room with two windows overlooking the harbour and island opposite. Clean and comfortable beds.
Handy for boat trips to the Skelligs. Great breakfast choices in the morning. Food in restaurant superb.
Free parking to be had near the church, a short walk away.
Everything! Location across the street from boat piers and near restaurants was extremely convenient. Wifi worked well throughout the house, hot water in showers and the bed was comfortable. Staff introduction at the house was informative. We wish we could have stayed longer! 10/10
The hotel is perfectly located across the Portmagee marina. It has a quaint atmosphere. The staff was very friendly. The next door restaurant very convenient and the food was good. The room was spacious and bathroom was great.
The property was a great location in Portmagee. it was only a 7 minute drive to Kerry cliffs and only a drive away to Valentia island. the property was very clean and cozy and the Jaquzzi was lovely and warm.
We had a great room with a complete breakfast. The view is amazing and I highly recommend. Big parking lot. The stay was attentive and caring. It was very close to Portmagee.
Friendly and helpful hosts, a nature experience, perfect location for Valentia Island and Skellig Ring, animals on the location, Portmagee nearby was also very nice to visit
Marie was an amazing host and came out to the roadside to greet us! Wonderful country setting but still close to the quaint town of Portmagee. Comfortable and cozy stay!
It is a good location for the skellig boat tours that start across the street. There is a shop, foodtruck and pub nearby.
Checking in was very easy with the key box.
Really spacious and comfortable, with all the facilities you could need. The view was great too. Portmagee, Valentia and the whole amazing area near at hand.
Location was beautiful, I can't think to a better location than this one in Portmagee.
Also the room was beautifully done, with all the services included.
Charming guest house a stone's throw from Portmagee. Communication with the staff was excellent. Everyone couldn't have been nicer. It was a great stay.
